Understanding subconscious structure with money mindset shift!

[This post is written by Vrushali Salunkhe]

REMEMBER #1: Money is just a tool

Many people exaggerate the importance of money but at the end of the day, money is just that – a tool.

A tool people have decided to be useful for deciding the value and exchanging things.

Don’t cling on your money as it’s the most important entity in your life. Don’t make it a matter of life or death. It’s just a tool.

Just like we need food, clothing and air to breathe, we also need money. And just like food, clothing and air, we have quite an unlimited supply of it all around.

I’m not trying to demean the importance of having food on the table. However, the more you focus on money as the most important thing in your world, the less peace you will have around it.

A wise person should have money in their head, but not in their heart.
–Jonathan Swift

One of the biggest money mindset shifts to make is to understand that there are shitloads of money all around us.

Just because you will earn more does not mean that somebody will get less.

It’s a vicious circle. Once you ask for more, the other person, giving the money to you, is going to ask for more whenever their money comes.

Often we are scared to raise our rates because we worry about where our clients will get the money. Often it actually happens unintentionally, in our subconscious. We actually care about others so we lower our rates, get shy and step away from talking about what we deserve.

Remember that there’s plenty of money. It’s just a number on the paper. It literally gets PRINTED. It’s not something that gets extinct. And you deserve it just as much as the person next to you.

REMEMBER #3: Money is meant to flow

The more you let go, the more you get back.

And I don’t mean reckless spending on Amazon. I mean accepting this as a fact and not holding on to money like the last resort.

This has proven to be true many times in my own life. The more I hold and hide the money, the less I have of it. The more I give, invest and spend (wisely!), the more I end up getting back.

Money is a tool that is meant for being exchanged. There is no use of holding money in your pocket, it’s not a way to get more of it.

Whenever you make a purchase, be thankful for the chance to get what you need or want instead of thinking “damn, I’ve spent so much again!”

Often I catch myself thinking this even about the most frugal things like buying coffee for $4. It’s just FOUR DOLLARS. How do I even let myself obsess about that?! But I do and it’s useless.

Keep in mind the benefits you get from things you buy.

A new outfit can make you feel more confident.
Coffee – more productive.
Paying for electricity makes your daily life easier.
And buying gifts for your loved ones gives the joy of giving.

REMEMBER #4: Money is not evil

People can do horrible things with money, yes. However, money is not the reason why people do that. Once again, money is just a tool. Don’t blame the money. It’s just numbers written on some colorful papers.

Thinking that money is evil or people who have money are bad, gets you in a rut of negative money mindset.

Why would the universe give you something that you detest?

Instead of focusing on the bad, focus on the good. What good things can be done with the money? Which of the richest people have invested in good things and keep giving to those in need? Could you become one of those people? (You totally could!)

“While money can’t buy happiness, it certainly lets you choose your own form of misery.”
― Groucho Marx

This is one of the things often talked about when it comes to money mindset. How people have grown into thinking that money is bad. Sometimes it even comes from your parents.
You can’t really overrule your subconscious mind, but you can reprogram it, step by step. First, you need to identify what beliefs or habits are holding you back and then change them into better ones.

So, let me know:

Do you struggle to achieve your goals, over and over again?
Do you feel you could do better, but it’s just not going to happen?
Are you an “almost” person?

Are you reaching your goals “almost”?
Are you “almost” happy?
Are you “almost” fulfilling your dreams?
And you don’t know why?

Do you think you are doing everything possible? Are you following all these steps to success? Doing the same actions with the same quality as the people around you, but never achieving the same goals?

If you answer one or more of the above questions with yes, then this article is definitely for you! It is shedding light on why it is not your fault that you only almost reach your full potential. You have a mighty opponent who is holding you back.

Your subconscious mind!

But don’t worry, you will soon gain the needed knowledge on why this is happening to you and how to change it. You will learn how to turn your biggest opponent into your most powerful ally!

How Does The Subconscious Mind Works

First, you need to understand that your mind is split into two parts; one very powerful and one very weak. It is your consciousness and your subconsciousness.

One is only executing; it is very easy to manipulate and has no free will whatsoever. The other is the all-mighty ruler who takes every decision in your life and has complete control over your actions, thoughts, belief system, and emotions.

The problem is that most people are mistaking the two.

It is the subconscious mind, who is steering and controlling all aspects of your life. Your conscious mind is only executing what it’s told to do.

It sounds weird, but it is a fact! And I will tell you why.

If we compare the two, it is almost ridiculous how much more powerful your subconscious mind is.

If we would have to compare the size of the two, and if we would assume that your consciousness is the size of, let’s say, a peanut, your subconscious would be the size of a massive data processing center. And this comparison also stands regarding abilities.

Your subconscious mind is programmed, and it always executes against that program, much like a computer.

Now, the shame is that this program has been implemented in you from early childhood without you having any control over it.

If you, for example, have been told, that:

“Money doesn’t grow on trees!”

“Rich People are bad people!”

“We cannot afford this!”

“People are egoistic!”

“You are not good enough!”

“This is not for regular people like us!”

You can absolutely reach any goal when you know how to reprogram your subconscious mind!
For a long time unconsciously and in the last decade consciously. That’s the key to the Law of Attraction and the basis on which manifesting works, but for a long time, it wasn’t obvious to me.

So the big question is, can you really achieve any goal just by reprogramming the subconscious mind? I say quite clearly, yes, you can.

And the great thing is, reprogramming the subconscious mind isn’t even difficult. It won’t happen overnight, but you can do it in your sleep, or at least out of your bed.

Here seven ways to reprogram your subconscious mind to reach all your goals:

1. Find Out What You Really Want.
 2. Create a New Reality Through Visualization.

3. Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind With Hypnosis.

4. Tell Your Subconscious Mind a New Reality With Affirmations.

5. Have Your Goals in Front of You Every Day, With a Vision Board.

6. Use a Journal to Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind.

7. Learn How the Law of Attraction Really Works.

The whole process of changing your belief system and finally being the person you ever wanted to be is, in fact, very easy.
These processes can also be implemented for your money issue mindset , the more you practically implement as an action taker the more you will get clarity of your dream which will help you to work toward your goal and manifest it.

You can simply set the level higher, you can tell your subconscious mind very clearly what your new goal is, where you want to go, and it won’t be able to help but get you there.

You can refer to some great reads, Think and Grow Rich. The book by Napoleon Hill – This book is a definitive classic and is really focused on how to manage oneself in order to enjoy a productive and successful life. This goes on the top shelf along with Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People for life long lessons on developing emotional intelligence and self-discipline although they were both written decades before the concept of EI was coined. Although first published in the early part of the 20th century, and while some terms are now dated, the concepts remain solid and this version has been revised with more modern stories of highly successful people. The stories which are intermixed within each chapter bring the concepts to life and keep the book lighter and more approachable. That said, this is a book worthy of study as each chapter addresses one of the key concepts or steps to leading a meaningful and productive life.

Despite the age of this book, I found the underlying lessons it contained to be highly relevant to my life today. The most valuable ideas I gathered from this book:

1) You cannot acquire great wealth without a concrete plan for attaining that wealth, a serious passion that compels you to act on your plan continuously, and great faith that your plan will allow you to succeed.

2) Many of the world’s greatest achievers were passionate to the point of obsession, and in order to emulate their success you must cultivate a desire until it becomes an obsession.

3) Material success does not come solely as a result of knowledge acquisition, but rather from one’s ability to organize and transform specialized knowledge such that it can be delivered to a wide audience in the form of a product or service.

4) Persistence often makes the difference between success and failure. It is a state of mind that is essential to success and can be overcome through effort.

5) One of the common attributes of highly successful people is the ability to reach decisions quickly and to change them slowly. Most of us are the opposite. This one competes to be on any life list of personal growth/development books to study and re-read and ought to be on the mandatory read list for all youths who aspire to “do” anything with their lives – to heck with Grapes of Wrath .
